Life’s Intersecting Points

From the moment of conception there is a unique destiny planted within each individual heart by the Creator. That seed although singular in purpose, throughout life will transform into many opportunities to accomplish the Divine planned purpose.

There will be many gardeners who will come into each life to water, fertilize and de-weed the path to allow the seed to flourish into a plant, then from a plant into a sapling, and finally from a sapling into a mighty hardwood tree that is able to withstand the testing of storms, tornadoes and hurricanes in life’s every changing landscape.

Those gardeners will be parents, friends, teachers, mentors and even those that may be considered as adversaries. But all are important to the maturing process of enabling each individual to mature to the point where life’s purpose and the uniquely innate talents and gifts intersect to produce a work that only this individual can do.

Each life is equipped with gifts and talents designed for growth and purpose.

In this incredible process of growth towards life’s chosen destiny there is also a connecting force assisting others along the way in their personal growth process as well. That’s the beauty of the origin of perfect design! Taking a simple seed of an individual’s unique talents and gifts to facilitate purposeful meaning in the lives of others along the way.

Similarly, as there are many different trees and plants in every forest growing alongside each other to supply oxygen to our planet, wood for our dwellings, and fuel for our light and warmth, it too, began as a seed that was planted and nurtured into maturity to fulfill the purpose for which it was created.

The heart is the interconnection which transforms dreams into destiny.

To this point, as success is oftentimes measured in job titles or financial status, I believe the softer skills of having character and humility, authenticity and being genuine is what truly matters most in life. This is referred to in the corporate world as IQ versus EQ (emotional quotient).

When viewing those who have truly succeeded in life and vocation, what brought them success is having a superior EQ investment which, came from nurturing and allowing the seed of their innate talents and gifts to take root, develop and grow.

Therefore, in the final analysis as your innate talents and gifts are properly nurtured to maturity, rest assured your final destination will produce a glorious forest of success!

For man is a tree of the field. (Deuteronomy 20:19)

“Each individual has the capacity to build communities and fill communities with life–so that every community member becomes a source of inspiration. Our roots are our faith and commitment, our trunk and our branches are our learning and character, and our deeds are our fruits,” The Lubavitcher Rebbe.
